NCA held its FIRST Commuter Camp at the Matrix June 20, 21, 22 2008! Thirteen squads with over 120 athletes came to The Matrix to participate in their yearly coaching and squad training sessions! Everything from Camp Cheers and Chants, to a Spirit Dance and Jump technique classes, the cheerleaders worked extremely hard to improve individually and as a squad! The competition was tough and everyone was excited and ready to receive their daily SPIRIT STICKS!!!!

Camp Awards:
Good Hope Middle School: Top Team Performance, Herkie Award, Spirit Stick all 3 days and 5 All-American nominations: Makyla Cobbs, Alannah Henke, Courtney Barnett, Bailie Andrews and Haley Hudson, who was chosen as a NCA All-American!
Eva Middle School: Shelby Dooley was selected as an All-American cheerleader!
Stone Middle School: SMS received Spirit Sticks everyday, the Top Game Day Performance for Junior High/JV squads and were the recipients of the NCA Spirit Megaphone award for the ENTIRE CAMP!!!
