2020 SUMMER CAMP

Daily camper registration is available on our activities calendar.
  • Due to the uncertainty of when The Matrix will be able to open, we have conservatively set our first camp session as June 1-5, 2020 and are deferring the $25 non refundable registration fee. 
  • We are also limiting registration to 20 campers and will adjust as necessary based on recommendations from the CDC--in the event we have 20 registrations and the CDC recommends less, we will notify campers in the order registration was received of who has a spot and notify the rest who will be placed on a waitlist.  
  • IF we are able to safely open before that, we will add session(s) in May.  Conversely, if we are not able to open by the first week of June, there will obviously be no charge for sessions that have been registered for and must be cancelled due to health orders.

Depending on the city and county school schedules, The Matrix offers day camps during school breaks for boys and girls ages 3 through 8th grade.   Campers do not need to be enrolled in classes to attend our camps.

ALL PRICES INCLUDE:
  • Daily healthy snack for half day campers and two daily snacks for full day campers
  • Daily Arts & Crafts related to the theme
  • Daily physical fitness instruction
  • Daily Open Gym times
  • Organized games, age appropriate music and movies, team building activities, board games, and lots of creativity keeping your campers excited and moving!

LUNCH AND SNACKS:
  • Snacks are included in the camp price and will be served mid-morning for all campers and around 2:30pm for full day campers.  Fruit, granola bars, string cheese, apples, Goldfish, and other "healthier" snacks will be provided.  Campers are welcome to bring their own snacks, but camp rates will not be adjusted. 
  • Lunch is available for purchase for $8/day from our friends at Athletic Club Alabama (it's delicious!) and can be ordered and paid for at drop off.  Campers may also bring a "sack lunch" daily if they would rather.  We ask all reusable water bottles and lunchboxes be labeled with your camper's names.
