Matrix PASE athletes!
PASE (POWER, AGILITY, SPEED, ENDURANCE) Fitness Classes:
The Matrix offers PASE classes for athletes ages 6 and up looking for a little extra Fitness in their routine! Your kids won't even know they're getting an awesome workout in during this hour class! PASE will develop the fundamental motor skills and strength to compete in any sport. Specific areas of focus will include muscular strength, foot speed & agility, and cardiovascular and muscular endurance. We also have PASE class times available in the early afternoon for Homeschool students needing to fulfill their P.E credit.

BASKETBALL SKILLS:
SEASONAL CLASS: JUNE-OCTOBER
Boys and girls ages 9 and up are welcome to join The Matrix's Basketball Skills class. Everything from dribbling and ball handling, shot form, defensive footwork, reading screens, shooting, scrimmages, and much more! These classes will hone your athletic skills! Classes are available weekly and private lessons are also offered for those seeking a more personal training route. Tuition is $57/month for 1 class/week and Private lessons are available for $35/ half-hour, $45/45-minutes, and $60/hour.
EAST COAST KARATE:
East Coast Karate is a NEW and exciting program being added to the Summer 2014 Schedule! Coach Jason Bonilla, a black belt instructor, is ready to teach athletes ages 4 and up the discipline and art of karate! For more information, please email Jason at [email protected]
JUDO
The Huntsville Judo Club at The Matrix is a family-friendly place to learn the sport of Judo. We accept all levels of students, from those who have only heard of Judo, to those who have previously acquired judo rank at another club or school. We welcome newcomers from other martial arts and grappling sports who wish to enhance their understanding of take-downs and throws.
About the club:
The Huntsville Judo Club has been in Huntsville since early 2006. Our main mission is to share the sport of judo in a fun, and relaxed way. As a club, we choose not to require membership contracts, or even charge for testing. Our judo ranks are internationally recognized, and adhere to the guidelines set out by the major organizations governing judo in the United States. We have quite a few active competitors from ages 6 to 50, as well as members who have no desire to compete. We welcome anyone who is wanting to learn judo as a sport, an art, self-defense, or just to exercise.
Classes Meets: Tuesdays 6:30pm-8:30pm and Fridays 5:30pm-7:30pm
Monthly Cost: $35 for Children, $45 for Adults, $55 for Families

About the Instructors - Senseis Hurley, Dawkins, and Schultz bring an enthusiasm for the the sport of judo, and a desire to pass the sport on to a new generation of players. Combined, they have more than 50 years of judo experience, competitively and as instructors. |
