Congratulations to athletes Jake Jacobson and Clare Johnson on being named to represent USA in the 2014 Pan American Championships! Also, to Coach Joy, who was chosen to coach the USA Team!
INDIANAPOLIS, April 6, 2014 – USA Gymnastics today announced the trampoline gymnasts who will represent the USA at the Junior Pan American Championships, May 9-11, in Daytona Beach, Fla., and the Nissen World Cup, slated for June 27-28 in Arosa, Switzerland. The Junior Pan Am Championships is the Youth Olympic Games qualifying event for trampoline.

The Matrix T&T Team will be chosen by our staff and will be the National representatives of the Matrix! The Competitive team will be required to attend weekly practices, summer camps & clinics, meets & competitions and fulfill the financial obligations in order to participate. Open to both boys and girls, athletes will perform on three apparatuses: trampoline, double-mini trampoline and a tumbling rod floor. Team athletes will practice anywhere from 4-10 hours a week depending on their level.
Athletes will also participate in unique conditioning programs designed to maximize potential in regards to strength, power, presentation & posture, flexibility, mental conditioning, and aerial awareness.
Team tuition will be based on the athlete’s level and not determined by the number of hours, like The Matrix recreational program.
T&T Team Commitments/Approximate Annual Cost:
- Monthly tuition
- Competition Leotard (Approximately $300 for females)
- Annual Team Fee: Varies by level. Anywhere from $300-$1500- covers all entry and coaching fees EXCEPT Regionals, Nationals, and Worlds.
- Regional Competition Fee: approximately $85.00/event (May)
- National Competition Fee: TBD annually
- Camp Wakeshema: $435.00 (one week) August 2009
- Varied coaching fees will be assessed for each competition individually for away competitions
